Objectif du jeu

This imitation game refers to the knowledge of the body (body schema) including its distal parts. The child must reproduce positions and movements, applying the symbology of the traffic light to the famous Vitruvian Man’s body drawn by Leonardo da Vinci. The game stimulates visual attention and has a significant influence on the development of imagination and, consequently, on Gestalt memory. It enhances children’s awareness of their body structure and allows the educator to develop new forms of play, along with the child. This game is based on the analogic-symbolic visual and acoustic system: with this system the children alternate roles of giving a visual or acoustic signal (Indicator), following the signal (Performer) and checking the accuracy of the movement (Reader).The fourth ‘L’ indicates ‘lateralization’.
